Caravan Park Details

Stoneyfold Caravan Park is located in Bosley, near Macclesfield in Cheshire and has a great selection of static caravans and mobile homes for sale or hire. The park is set within 40 acres of quiet tranquil woodland, on the side of a hill with magnificent views towards the Peak District National Park and the Cheshire Plain.

The caravan site is a haven for wildlife away from the noise of traffic and night sky light pollution, so much so, that a herd of red deer regularly graze down to the woods around the park at dusk.

Stoneyfold Park really is a twitcher\'s paradise with regular sightings of wood peckers, owls and birds of prey and is the ultimate get away from it all location, yet so close to many amenities. There are also many traditional country pubs dotted around the area offering good food as well as fishing and golf facilities for the enthusiast.

Stoneyfold Caravan Park is just a 5 minute drive from Macclesfield, a traditional market town with good facilities and well known high street shops. Congleton is also just a short 10 minute drive away.

Macclesfield attractions and directions

Stoneyfold Caravan Park is located on the A523 three miles from Macclesfield; a bustling market town boasting a host of well known shops. There are a number of golf courses locally; Macclesfield Golf Club, Prestbury Golf Club as well as Mottram Hall and Shrigley Hall. There is also a golf driving range with a nine hole course at Adlington about 8 miles away.

The walking enthusiast will not be disappointed with superb walks in Macclesfield Forest and in the Peak Park. Fishermen have many choices from the local reservoirs and canals. There is a bus stop near the entrance to Stoneyfold Lane and three pubs within walking distance and a local shop within a mile.

There are also some traditional local pubs within a 5 mile radius, some of which are Camra pub of the year winners such as The Fools Nook in Sutton, The Leathers Smithy in Langley, The Crag in Wildboarclough, The Ryles Arms in Higher Sutton and the Ship Inn at Wincle.

All offer superb selections of cask beers and tasty bar meals in beautiful locations. All of these pubs are en route to some fabulous walks with panoramic views.

Macclesfield is a town very close to a number of visitor attractions, including the Blue John Caverns in Castleton, Chatsworth House in Bakewell and Teggs Nose Country Park in nearby Macclesfield Forest.
