Lunar touring caravans 2008 review

Lunar has been manufacturing touring caravans for 38 years and has established itself well within the industry as a very leightweight caravan manufacturer. Here we are going to be looking at the 2008 models of the Quasar, Lexon, Delta and Ariva to see how they compete in the modern caravan industry.

Lunar Quasar EB 2008 £12495 - £14995

The Lunar Quasar touring caravan is a low to mid range caravan with a mid range spec. Being a Lunar it is low weight and has all the features you would expect from a touring caravan of its price such as shower, microwave, radio/CD player and a reasonably sized firdge. One thing that struck me almost instantly about the 2008 Quasar is the seating, it was very firm, sadly I found the seating just a little too firm for my liking, if I were to buy a 2008 Quasar I would try to find one in a few years time so the cushioning has time to lose some of its stiffness.

The styling is very much in line with other tourers in its price range and the toilet / washroom doesnt have a divide to prevent toiletries from getting wet, this is more a result of the size of the caravan than anything else. I found this Lunar Quasar to be a decent tourer for the money but I would recommend teh Elddis Avante Club over this due to the features it has to offer and overall comfort, but anyway take a look at these pictures as you may just love it:
