Lunar Delta caravan 2008 review

Lunar touring caravans 2008 review

Written by CaravanGuy on 2007-09-21

Lunar has been manufacturing touring caravans for 38 years and has established itself well within the industry as a very leightweight caravan manufacturer. Here we are going to be looking at the 2008 models of the Quasar, Lexon, Delta and Ariva to see how they compete in the modern caravan industry.

Lunar Delta SB 2008 £17995

The Lunar Delta is teh twin axle version of its high spec Clubman range of caravans, the Delta is very much the Flagship touring caravan of the Lunar range of caravans and as such comes with a radio/CD/DVD player, 800W fitted microwave, AL-KO wheel lock and burglar alarm fitted as standard on all models. View the pictures below for an idea of the internals and floor plans of the Delta:

This 2008 Delta come with twin fixed beds and a double dinette bed at the front of the caravan making this a 4berth. On first impression this is a large and spacious tourer with lots of storage space and wonderfully modern interior stylings, the fridge for example is a classy black 122litre affair which wouldnt look out of place in a modern home.

There is cabinet space provided for a 17inch TV with a swivel base for viewing in either the lounge area or the twin bedroom. In the end toilet / washroom there is a separate shower compartment so your toiletries dont get wet and this also gives plenty of space. I was pleasantly surprised with this high range touring caravan as it delivered all the things we are coming to expect from a modern tourer caravan.

Next we will take a look at the last of our Lunar caravan reviews, the budget Lunar Ariva touring caravan.
