Non-members welcome! Enjoy the beautiful scenery around the site and on the shores of Derwentwater. The Lake District National Park Centre is located at nearby Brockhole. The site is close to the town of Keswick with its array of shops and pubs. Buttermere, 13 miles away, is worth a visit for the Lake and Ghyll Wood. Minimum booking period for hook-up pitches July/August and English Bank Holidays is 5 nights, all other times 3 nights. Minimum booking period for non hook-up pitches July/August and English Bank Holidays is 3 nights, all other times 2 nights. Some all-weather pitches available. Boat launching is available on this site. Canoes and windsurfers to be charged 50% of launching fees. There may be restrictions on the availability of pitches and use of awnings due to possibility of Site flooding. Please seek advice from the site managers.
